We work to reduce socioeconomic and racial disparities while promoting family well-being through social support networks, parent and caregiver education, youth empowerment, child development resources, and initiatives that build the social and emotional strength
of children and families across generations.

Urban League of Kansas is dedicated to ensuring that every individual and family has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing. We achieve this by providing housing education, financial literacy training, and access to critical resources that empower low- to moderate-income households to build economic security, strengthen resilience, and achieve lasting self-sufficiency.

Urban League of Kansas prioritizes financial literacy as a cornerstone of economic empowerment. We equip individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve financial security, build assets, increase economic mobility, and create generational wealth that strengthens families and communities for years to come.

Urban League of Kansas prioritizes education, career development, and workforce advancement as pathways to economic mobility and equitable opportunity. We advocate for equitable access to quality education from Pre-K through college while providing the resources, training, and career pathways individuals need to secure quality
employment, advance into higher-wage careers, and build lasting economic prosperity for themselves, their families, and future generations.

community transformation and equity. We develop and empower diverse leaders through education, mentorship, advocacy training, and civic engagement opportunities that strengthen leadership skills, increase civic participation, and equip individuals to effectively advocate for themselves, their families, and their communities
while advancing meaningful and lasting change.
