We help individuals access the skills, knowledge, support & networks they need to enter the workforce & advance in their careers. Our programs raise employment & income levels through job training & placement services, career exposure, career advancement, seminars, coaching & long-term retention strategies.
The League has also formed strong relationship & partnerships with local employers & training providers to offer employment & training opportunities.
WSU TECH CNA PROGRAM
The CNA program is a Kansas Board of Regents approved certification program and is designed to prepare students for employment as trained nursing assistants. The class curriculum is on-line and face-to-face with an instructor from WSU Tech. Total program takes 8 weeks to complete and includes 30 hours of clinical experience at a state approved licensed nursing home. The program is designed to help participants gain and retain employment while at the same time advancing the economic career ladder within the healthcare field. The opportunity does exists for graduates to meet with healthcare agencies for job placement.

The WSU Tech CNA program consists of the following courses:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to qualify for financial aid through WSU Tech
