Administrative Professional Training
The Administrative Professional is a six-week course that will provide the student with the skills and the know-how to get the job and then get the job done. It is designed to assist adults in identifying their existing assets and creating new ones that will lead to sustained employment. The program provides computer training in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, life skills and job search. The curriculum is designed for individualized, self-directed training.
The course is designed for those new to or re-entering the workforce, or just wishing to build on their current skills to become more hirable and more promotable. The course covers a wide range of topics. These include:
- Personal work habits
- Self-esteem
- Resume building
- Interview skills
- The power of positive attitude
- Ethical decision-making
- Job-search techniques
- Computer skills
