Their New President & CEO
Mr. Chester Daniel

The Urban League of Kansas is pleased to announce Chester
A. Daniel will assume his role as President & CEO on Monday,
March 17, 2008.
Mr. Daniel comes to Wichita,
Kansas
with 15 years experience at the Jacksonville Urban League. Chester
began his career as Fair Housing Director and most recently served as the Vice
President of Economic and Strategic Initiatives. Chester
has a strong knowledge of the Urban League Programs and holds a solid
foundation in the mission of the Urban League.
Chester Daniel is a champion of education. After
completing high school in his home country of Barbados,
West Indies, he moved to Newark,
NJ to
attend Rutgers
University.
At Rutgers,
Chester
received his Bachelor’s degree and later attained his Master’s degree from the University
of North Florida.

we are mindful of our duties to the community.

with over 52 years of economic development. In addition, we thank our
committed staff that works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of our
community. We will continue to do what we do best; serve as many
communities that invite us to do so.
