Membership



When you become a member of the Urban League of Kansas, you help continue a 52-year tradition of providing important outreach programs. When you become a member of an organization as widely recognized and highly regarded as the ULK, you become an ambassador for the community.



Our members make things happen. Member fees are used to:

  • Create outreach programs designed to prepare individuals for successful employment opportunities and homeownership.
  • Mentor young men/women with positive role models and educational guidance.
  • Provide at-risk and under-privileged youth the tools of success by giving them access to programs that empower.
  • Help prepare high school students for post-secondary education.
  • Counsel young men/women about the dangers of gang life and steer them toward a productive future.
